New York Life Grief-Sensitive School District Designation

The counseling department has received the Grief-Sensitive designation from New York Life! They have donated $3500 for us to train our counselors on grief and bereavement strategies, provide support to our students, and purchase materials to enhance our treatment. Our counseling department attended a meeting with New York Life and completed a lengthy application to receive this grant. We will be having training with the Children's Bereavement Center of the RGV next Wednesday, August 14th.  We are excited to partner with New York Life to provide enhanced services and foster a supportive environment to our students in need. Thank you, New York Life!
