The Valley View Junior High Concert Band has achieved an outstanding milestone, earning a Division 1 rating at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Competition! This top rating is a testament to the students’ dedication, musical talent, and the hard work of their directors.
At the competition, bands are evaluated on both their prepared concert performance and their ability to sight-read music they’ve never seen before. Achieving a Division 1— the highest possible rating—reflects the band's excellence in musicianship, technique, and overall performance.
