Guided by Mr. Sammons, students are putting their first-semester knowledge to the test by creating a fully functional game in Unity. This hands-on challenge requires them to incorporate key elements such as difficulty selection, scorekeeping, game-over conditions, and an interactive ending screen with a restart button. The project allows students to demonstrate mastery in object placement, game mechanics, scripting, and win/lose conditions, skills they’ve developed throughout the semester. This culminating activity solidifies their foundation in Unity and prepares them to tackle more advanced concepts in game design as they progress into the next unit.
